Today was a better day

Slept in some this morning, the rest was well-needed. Got up and made my budget for this pay period. Wrote and addressed all the checks needing to be mailed. Gamma suggested watching a movie so we put in 'The Help.; Loved the book, and the movie =). Cooked a olive oil, garlic and thyme marinated pork loin with Stove Top cranberry dressing with some chopped walnuts thrown it, and green beans. Had a glass of our local winery's muscadine juice with it. So yummy. Read some of my new book 'One for the Money,' soon to be a movie with Katherine Heigl. Took a nap. Texted Taylor and made plans to go to WalMart once Will's check was deposited. Went and got some groceries for my Gamma, along with a few more Christmas presents, and stuff for a care package for Will. 3 magazines (Sports Illustrated, Men's Health, and CQ), a book by Stephen King (Bag of Bones I believe?), and a bunch of goodies. Stuff to mix with water, Jolly Ranchers, Christmas boxes of Gobstoppers, Skittles, and Dots, 2 things of Oreos, some Chex Mix, and some bakery fresh Christmas cookies. Who cares if it's late =D. I'm sending him tons more than necessary, lol. Came home and dyed my hair, now I'm blogging and about to end this one for the night. Gotta be up in the a.m. for an oil change and tire rotation, then it's off to Gainesville for Japanese steakhouse and hopefully the last of my Christmas shopping. Nighty-night everyone =)).

....mentally exhausted.

Sorry for the lack of blogging. Dial-up (....yes, that still exists) makes Internet pretty difficult. I got to FL in the beginning of Nov, and the past 6 weeks have been spent catching up with family and friends. Will got R&R extremely early. I'm now dealing with the aftermath of that. I feel empty. The second good-bye was so much worse than the first. We crammed Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and our birthdays into 2 weeks. Me and a lot of my friends have been plagued by sadness. My mom got a health diagnosis that wasn't the greatest, two of my best friends' grandparents have passed away, my friend Jessica's dog got hit by a douche on Thanksgiving, and another friend has had some pretty awful stress during her husband's deployment. I'm pretty much over the bad luck streak. I'm thankful I have some pretty awesome friends, both in the 352 and 915 who constantly check on me. I haven't felt like myself since Saturday. Don't get me wrong, I had an amazing R&R with Will.  Idk what's with the depression honestly. We ate a ton of yummy Southern food, hit up a local beach, did some local 'tourist' stuff, went to Tally, went and saw Breaking Dawn, went to Ocala to see their Christmas display (did a Ferris wheel while there, my very first one!), and saw a ton of friends.  Tonight was a night of Capt Crunch (Christmas kind), a good book, and my LuLu.  Hope everyone's doing good. I'll blog again when I can =)).
