were my glasses. And Ft.Bliss Optical was no help! Though not even 6 months old, I would've had to replace the entire pair. But! Thankfully, nicer optical places in the mall referred this hole-in-the-wall shop, and the guy is a miracle worker. My Calvin Klein glasses are in one piece again =). No more wiggly temple arms. All for $40 and some change. Hallelujah!
My Fusion's still at the shop, and when we pick it up...Will's car is going in, lol. Poor Sunfire needs a fuel flush, oil change, A/C check since it stopped blowing cold air, and the windshield line thingy broke. Expensive little thing, but I love that car.
Grocery shopping was fun. Got a ton of stuff, everything in the house is completely stocked up. Steak, ribs, tenderloin, chicken, and hamburger meat. I always plan a menu as to avoid overbuying...but we were completely out of stock.
I also picked up a pocket planner, and mini expanding file for my coupons. =). I love that little thing. It held my mini calculator, grocery list, coupons, and ID/debit card, with no bulging. Got almost $30 back from Plato's Closet, and spent it on books to read in case Will does indeed leave for the field this week.
I may not be an Army wife for much longer, and that thought is weird. However! I already have job offers from back home, and that's exciting. Ever since I heard Will's getting out, my homesickness has grown like..tenfold. As soon as I end this blog, I'm gonna indulge in our local newspaper. Thank goodness I have that.
OH! And this week's Glee = amazing. I loved it. =)
That's all for now. G'night!
I'm happy your glasses got fixed. That is a definitely an expensive cost sometimes. I loved glee too!
ReplyDeleteI want you to come home more than you know, but be careful with getting excited. The army might jerk your chain one more time :/
