Great way to start off Memorial Day weekend
...is with a Beer Olympics challenge, and a cake fight =D. My team, Jessica and I, were Juicy. Will's team name was Southern Charm (totally picked it out ;) ). Pretty epic stuff. We had brackets consisting of beer pong, flipcup, relay race, quarters, long jump, and high jump. I did the long jump, and Jess did the high jump (thankfully, lol). Both jumps, you drank half a beer, and jumped, lol. My long jump was like 58 inches, which is almost my height, yayyy me. The relay was ten cups, 2 beers per side, and you chugged them. It all ended with a massive cake fight. =D. It took me 3 washes, and a deep conditioning for my hair to return to normal. Got home pretty late...let's just say as we were headed to bed, my Gamma was waking up =D. But, I'm off to tackle today's to-do list. Enjoy your weekend everyone, and thank an Armed Forces person, past or present, as they are the reason you're more than likely enjoying a long weekend.

Update
So far, my health is good. Got prescribed a med to help reduce the acid in my stomach, hoping this will help elleviate my gagging issue. My cervix seems to be fine, and I'm scheduled for an ultrasound next month. But Will & I had a serious discussion, and we'd both prefer to put adding to the family on hold until he comes home. Obviously this was not our emotions talking, as it kills us not to be parents. =/. I'm actually tearing up just typing it. But if something were to happen, I'd want him by my side. I'm not that strong yet. I got the ultrasounds today. It felt like time. I don't care that there was nothing in my uterus, there was life inside my Fallopian tubes, and I want those images.
But! after my appt Will was home, so we went out and spent time together. Came home so he could play his games while I finished the book I bought yesterday, Sarah Dessen's 'What Happened to Goodbye.' It was amazing, read it!
Yesterday was a good day too. Got Will everything he needed for NTC, and watched a movie by myself. This may sound strange, but it was sooo peaceful sitting in the theater by yourself. I watched Something Borrowed, and highly recommend it =).
I'm off to eat my veggie sub and watch a movie with the hubs. G'night =)

Pirates and dancing robots
Today Will & I enjoyed a easy date. Burgers and a movie. (Weirdly, my best friend Miranda and her Will were doing the exact same thing hundreds of miles away, lol.) We grabbed some Five Guys and then went to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean, pretty durn good movie. While in the mini-mall, there was a silver dancing robot guy who had some pretty sweet moves, raising money for something or another. We actually ran into a battle buddy of Will's who challenged the guy, lol.
Came home and made grilled cheeses, then cuddled up in our bed with our LuLu and watched last week's SNL. Not as funny as other's have been, the time Taylor Swift hosted it is still one of my faves, buttt it mentioned El Paso! Lol, only b/c Obama visited a short time ago, and of course SNL had to poke fun at it. But still, it was pretty coool. Anyways, only one hour and seven minutes left of today, and so far..I'm still alive ;)....thankfully.

Nostalgia (Long post about memories of Senior year)
I never thought once in high school I'd actually miss it, but I do. For the past two years, I've been totally separated from everyone I grew up with. And it suckss! I was watching Laguna Beach on my DVD, and started texting with my best friend about all the fun we use to have, especially the summer before and during our Senior year. That summer, we (Miranda, Taylor, Kristen, &I ) were ALWAYS together. From the springs, to hanging out at each other's house, to Gainesville, to Cedar Key, almost every other day we were together. We started senior year off right too. The night before, we all went to Chiefland and rode the go-carts, grabbed some food at Pizza Hut, and came back to my house, to eat more junk food. And we made lists, of what we saw the others doing with their lives, and were we wanted to be with our lives. Thank goodness the first day of school is a joke (getting supply lists and syllabus' of that year's work). We cruised up to school to a Fergie song, because we're just that cool. (I sadly didn't have an actual car to drive yet =( ). After school, we went to grab lunch at the local hangout, and planned to go to WalMart to get supplies afterwards. We prolonged the day (it was a Friday anyways) by going to the springs and then crashing at my house (where Brad and Taylor's brother totally got us with Tay's birthday cake). Life was so simple then. We knew who our friends were, and we found our place in the world. I got my car!!!! about 2 weeks after school had started, my 2005 Pontiac Sunfire with less than 30,000 miles on it. Not too shabby Momma and Gamma. ACT's were not a fun thing, esp since me & Tay took them on no sleep (we had an away football game, then we spent the night in the boonies with Rand'r, and had to be up way early since we both forgot calculators, lol), and after them we went to Gainesville to see a movie. I believe that was that was the first time I drove to Gainesville in my car, lol. Fridays we usually ate at Cypress before the games. Dixie vs.Chiefland was my favorite one, obviously. Senior photos, senior Homecoming, our last football game, it all flew by, but we were too busy focused on graduation. I wish I could stop that. Christmas break came and went. I turned 18 in March, and my mom made it a pretty big deal. We had a party that Friday night, cake, pizza, fruit & veggies trays, and my girls spent the night. The next day my mom treated us to a day in the Ville. 2 movies(Fool's Gold and Step Up 2), dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, On the Border, and Build-a-Bear! Spring break came soonafter, which we spent on the water, lol. Season skip day was fun, us 4 went to Cedar Key, after prom dress fittings and my impromptu interview with Winn Dixie (still surprised I got the job since I was in beachwear cover-up, but to be fair, I had no idea when I called asking about my application it'd lead to an interview! ;) ), came home to Taco Bell and some cake we grabbed at Walmart, lol. Prom season came with promises. The year before we all went as friends, this year was date year. I loved loved loved my dress, I felt like Cinderella. I took my best guy friend, Codey, since we had to sign up our dates way early, and I met my boyfriend, now hubby, Will right before prom. But we got all glamed up, went to dinner (it was hard finding a restaurant since we were a party of like, 22) and had a blast at Prom. Afterwards, I came home to Will, and we watched Grey's all night. Lol. I started working soon-after, actually went to work the day we had graduation practice, and was almost late due to it. Graduation was fun. Our party was funner ;). Our parents got together, and we threw a pretty awesome party, along with Sherriah. We each had a color theme, and the decorations matched that. Kristen, Miranda, and Taylor all got cars that weekend, which was exciting for them =).
I miss just texting them, out of the blue, and making plans. Countless sleepovers. We shared pretty much everything. Since graduating, a lot has changed. Miranda, Taylor, and I are still as close, but Kristen..not as much =(. I got closer to many friends though.
Anyways, never wish for things in future, but enjoy the present =).

Recap
Friday was an interesting day. Will amazingly got home early from his FTX. We went over to a friend's to celebrate his birthday, and as always, had a good time. I even got to place my Slumber Party order, woohoo!
Saturday we had a date night. Applebee's 2 for $20, he had the chicken penne pasta while I enjoyed the fiesta lime chicken (which came highly recommended). Went and saw Bridesmaids, which was so funny it had me crying lol. Afterwards we walked around the mini-mall, and got some pretzel bites to share.
Sunday..wasn't fun. We had grabbed breakfast at Mickey D's so we could accomplish some errands. Halfway out, I got extremely sick. Not sure if the greasiness just didn't agree, or the fact I got a sausage biscuit instead of my usual cheese, but..yeah.. We stayed in bed, playing the PS2 and began our Fast & Furious marathon. (And when he got sick of the PS2, I got to watch Never Say Never!)
Now it's Monday, and thankfully while Will was gone, the apartment was clean, and it didn't get cluttered this weekend, as I'm still not up to par, and it's not just my stomach today, it's my abdomen =/. Can we just take out my entire stomach? Please?
Next Tuesday is my doctor appointment. Joy. And then I have a follow-up ultrasound in June.
I'm off to watch Army Wives =).

Wired Up Wednesday
My day started out AMAZING. I slept in, and woke up to barely any pain. Then I watched Glee! It was actually so good I'm probably about to re-watch it. I made myself a grilled cheese for lunch, and finished one of the books I purchased the other day. Will & I discussed taking a mini-cation before he deploys, and to celebrate our 2nd anniversary, since he'll be gone for this one as well =/...and possibly our 3rd. Did a check-up of both our credit reports, b/c I'm weird like that, and since we've been together, his credit has improved incredibly. Thankfully. Made some Cajun shrimp scampi for dinner, and have decided to re-watch Glee. I know, I'm a cool kid. Lol.

Chicken soup does a body good
I was dreading this month's menstrual cycle, after learning I had a cyst. Last time, it caused my cyst to rupture...as this time proved no different. Thankfully they are smaller in size, so, no ER visit (fingers crossed) this time around. I've been alternating popping Midol and Advil, and my poor heating pad hasn't got a break.
I just fixed me a quick dinner of chicken noodle soup, and am laying in bed, listening to my blog's playlist, and about to start reading a book. I'm seriously a nerd. It's a book called 'Forever Summer,' and it's apparently two books in one, by Alyson Noel. I've never heard of her before, but the cover art was pretty =D.
My present for MSAD came in the mail today, and brightened my spirits considerably.
. I love it =D.
And my love is calling me, so nighty night bloggers. <3

Is it Friday yet?
I hate Mondays. Plain and simple. This weekend was so much fun.
Friday I attended a Scentsy party. Am seriously considering becoming a consultant for back home. I love the stuff. Got me a plug in warmer, and a mini one, with some new scents. Luna, cherry limeade, surfer chick, sweet pea & vanilla, as well as flirtatious. I'm excited to receive them. I got a lot of summerly scents, since Will's not gonna be around much this summer. =/. Then I came home to finish getting ready for Saturday's slumber party, and grab some groceries.
The Slumber Party went well, nearly everyone who said they were coming did. =D. I was quite pleased with that. My refreshments included buffalo chicken dip, a veggie tray, a fruit tray, a meat, cheese, and cracker tray (pepperoni and cheddar), cookie platter with Oreos and Chips a Hoy!, Arbor Mist wine, Coke, lemonade, and water. The only thing we can leftover was some veggies and cookies, and the drinks. =) After that we hung out at Jess' house for a while.
Mother's Day was bittersweet this year. I got notice that many people didn't wanna wish me this, as they didn't know how I'd respond, which is understandable. LuLu Ann bought me a gorgeous bouquet, with help from her amazing daddy.
My Gamma treated us to lunch, as much as for the holiday, and she likes to spoil Will when he leaves. We decided on BJ's. We indulged in a mini-bruschetta, he had chicken tenders & fries, while I enjoyed a Caesar salad, and grilled chicken sandwich. OMG. That thing was amazing. I held off the avocado and lettuce, and substituted provolone for the listed Swiss. It came perfectly grilled, on garlic bread, and yummy melted cheese. I enjoyed a root beer, while Will tried out their cream soda. All in all, it was a wonderful lunch.
Afterwards we headed to base so I could grab the ingredients for a new favorite drink, the Malibu Hurricane. So yummy =). Will cooked a late dinner of bbq baked pork chops, angel hair pasta, and Italian green beans. I was in heaven.
Last year, as we were watching Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, we heard a terrible noise. I thought someone was dragging their muffler as they drove. Turns out, our AC broke somehow, and it was the fan making the noise. We turned off the AC (thankfully it wasn't a hot night), after maintenance suggesting it. They asked if we needed them to come, we declined, as we were about to go to bed, and could live without it for a night. I was awake at 7:30, and fifteen minutes later, maintenance was at our door to completely replace our AC. Now it's on 70, and blowing freezing cold air. -=D. I LOVE our apartments!!!
I thankfully don't whine when Will leaves as I use to, but I do miss him, and look forward to seeing him at the end of the week =).

Biggest Relief of my Life
My mass..isn't cancer. I know I'm a tad young for the thought to even cross my mind, but usually when I have health issues, it's almost always the worse and randomest of things. It is however, 3 ovarian cysts, but they are MUCH smaller than last year's. So hopefully these won't burst and make it to where I can barely walk. I go to the doctor in May, and she put in a request for me to do another ultrasound in June. So, fingers crossed these suckers disappear on their own. =D.

Need a Little Bit of FL in My Life
I'm homesick, badddd. Still hoping & praying things work out. I talk to my Momma and Gamma, and my best friend literally everyday, so that helps. And my favorite owner/editor makes it super easy for me to stay caught up by posting our hometown paper online (Thanks Mrs.Kathy, since you are a follower ;) ). But I've missed so many activities, weddings,...babies, people moving away, I just hate it.
Friday is Military Spouse Appreciation Day, and Will is apparently gung-ho on the idea. He purchased something for me, and will not tell me what it is. He said I'll get it at dinner, which we're apparently going to after I go to a friend's Scentsy party. Friday may be a big day for us in another way, but I don't wanna jinx anything.
STILL waiting on a phone call about my MRI results, and now add my results from my blood labs to see if there's an underlying issue of why I continue to feel nauseous and keep gagging. It's so awkward to be walking in the PX, and have a gagging fit. Hate hate hate how Army medical facilites find it appropriate to wait forever and a day to inform you of YOUR own medical status. And forget harassing them, it usually doesn't faze them, anddd just gets you exhausted.
I'm off to enjoy the sounds of Now 38 and the Warbler's CD, and read my book <3
